| Welcome to the Knights of the Rose. I am Jhaanak,
Guildmaster. This site is meant to be a haven for Diablo & Diablo II
Multiplayer role-players. There are two different levels of membership;
there is desiring to enjoy the fellowship of our company by being an Initiate,
or; proving yourself and your integrity to become a full Knight. Initiate
and Knight membership is reserved to those who play the games this guild
covers, which at the moment is Diablo, and will be Diablo II when it comes
out. Other games MAY be included in the future.
Feel free to follow the links to these Diablo II sites, or just browse the registry of guild members (that's me, so far). We hope to provide as much information as possible on each guild member, including stats, exploits, background, and pictures of the character, as well as photos of the actual role-player (at their discretion).

This guild has been created to provide a means to identify a group of role-players who are willing to abide by a code of ethics designed to make internet and multiplayer gaming enjoyable. We understand, as fellow Role-Players, that it is the nature of role-playing to play many different roles, and so we require only those characters using the KOR appellation to abide by the standards of the Knights of the Rose. If you choose to engage in cheating, dishonorable PKing or any other dishonorable gaming activity such as "duping," you are encouraged to create ANOTHER character that does not use the KOR postfix.
While the Guild will enforce membership on this web site, because of the nature of multiplayer gaming, we have no control over those who choose to use the appellation "~KOR" or the Knight's Postfix which includes the "KOR" letters. If you encounter someone using either of these postfixes who does not follow the creed(s) outlined below, please report it so we may take action. "Action" here, is meant only to verify the acts of dishonor, and if verified, post them here as "put on probation," or "Expelled." There really is nothing more we can do at this point. We will keep a list of all KOR guild members on this site, so you can check with us to ensure you are in fact associating with a guild member. We will also attempt to keep you up to date with a list of the KOR members who are either on probation or who have been asked to leave the guild. Because of our open policy, we expect anyone who does not wish to follow these rules of conduct to refrain from identifing themselves as a member.
The initiate is a full member of the Knights of the Rose, and is entitled to placement on our list of members. An initiate, however, is unproven, and must work to become a Knight.
The Knight will be an initiate or hand-picked (by the guildmaster) character who has shown to exemplify the values of the Knights of the Rose. |
